The world of work is changing – and the change is often abstract, lacking transparency, and raises many questions. The Transformation Agency Rhineland-Palatinate serves as a signpost to change: a central point of contact for employees, businesses, and citizens in Rhineland-Palatinate for all questions relating to the diverse changes in their working and private life. The task of the Transformation Agency is to render tangible the complex and sometimes abstract processes of change for society, the economy, and politics, to show the resulting opportunities and challenges, and to offer the people in Rhineland-Palatinate security in change. Prognos supports the Rhineland-Palatinate Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Transformation and Digitisation in the implementation of the Transformation Agency.
The Transformation Agency began its work at the beginning of 2022. Since then, we place particular focus on the following four areas:

The Bildungsketten Initiative’s goal is to support coordinated action by the Federal and State governments at the most important interfaces of the educational process. Prognos evaluates the initiative on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
The transition into the job market often represents a greater challenge for immigrants. We evaluated a subsidised programme that supports them in meeting this challenge on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
For the working environment to become more sustainable, knowledge and raising awareness are key. Funding programmes such as the BBNE could help with this. Prognos conducted an apprais-al of the programme.
Prognos analysed tasks, structures and processes on behalf of the Kultusministerkonferenz – the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs (KMK). The evaluation recommended the fundamental development of the KMK.
Germany needs at least 271,000 additional all-day places for primary school children by the 2026/2027 school year. We are examining how this can be achieved for the Ministry for Family Affairs.
