The “Zukunftsatlas® 2004” provides information about the prospects of Germany’s 439 districts and independent cities. The future index (overall ranking), which is made up of 29 indicators, shows the regional distribution of future opportunities and risks within Germany. An analysis of the indicators according to the two dimensions “strength” and “dynamic” allows the ranking to be differentiated into the locations’ current strengths on the one hand, and the development of the regions over the last five years, on the other. In addition, evaluations and rankings in the areas of “Demography,” “Labour market,” “Social situation & prosperity,” and “Competition & Innovation” are compiled. The overall, strength, and dynamic maps, the ranking, the most important results, and further explanations are available in a PDF for download: Prognos Zukunftsatlas® 2004 - At a glance (in German) Other editions Do you have questions?
