As part of the project "Capacity Enhancement for Development and Implementation of Smart Specialisation Strategies in Türkiye's Regions" (CEDIS3), the third training programme will take place from 15 to 19 April 2024.

The aim of the project is to improve the capacities of national and regional stakeholders for the development and implementation of effective smart specialisation (S3) strategies in Turkey.

The training programmes are an important component of the capacity building activities. The various training programmes are designed to provide participants with the practical and technical knowledge required not only for the development of S3 but also for the implementation of R&I-related activities.

The third training programme now taking place focuses on the "Entrepreneurial Discovery Process & S3 Governance".
Dr Jan-Philipp Kramer will participate as a speaker in the opening panel on "The role of the Entrepreneurial Discovery Process (EDP) in smart specialisation" and provide input on the positioning of the Entrepreneurial Discovery Process in policy and on EDP-related communication in two further presentations.
